Louver Angle Checker (LAC)
The Jodon LAC - 2000 is a standalone, offline system for measuring louver features of convolution (serpentine) and plate-type cooling fins. Defects in fin fabricating tooling and fin machine alignment can be easily identified and analyzed using this system.
Long-term degradation in fin machine rolls and dies caused by age or misalignment can be tracked using "Percent Bulk Transmission": the amplitude of light passing through each louvered window relative to a maximum seen with a specialized calibration fixture and louver angle.
Much like the results of other systems Jodon offers, the LAC-2000 saves results for reports and Statistical Process Control analysis. Graphical presentation of these results are integral in understanding trends and controlling processes.
